A lot of color went into this. The mountains and rooftops permeate the landscape outside my window. The red rooftops are a welcomed sight and a small river flows in the foreground. I intentionally wanted more color to make it feel like a resort area, like it’s ok to relax here and stay a while. I also have more abstract moments in here, as I love to play with color, especially the warms and cools of reds.

Doing a new painting never gets old by the way.  It only adds another chapter to the story of your life.
